Solar recipe: multicolored potée
Here’s a very simple recipe for a multicolored potée using the day’s harvest (so it can vary), made by our Solar Sister Francine with the SunGlobe parabolic solar cooker. Francine shares her passion, tips and advice for successful solar cooking.
Recipe suggested by : Francine – Solar oven: parabolic type, SunGlobe – Preparation time: 15 min – Cooking time: 1 h
Ingredients for 4 people :
- 1 yellow zucchini
- 2 eggplants
- a few beans
- 1 large red onion
- 2 large tomatoes
- basil and thyme
Preparing the multicoloured potée
- Chop all the vegetables and put them in the casserole.
- Add 2 tbsp.
tablespoons olive oil and a glass of water.
- Simmer for 1 hour.
- Season and enjoy with meat, omelettes or fish.
Enjoy your meal! A quick reminder: cooking time always depends on the utensil used, its thickness and color.
The thinner the metal and the darker the color, the faster the cooking!
