Solar recipe: gratin of pumpkin with Maroilles cheese
Discover this original recipe for pumpkin gratin with Maroilles, tested and approved with the SunGlobe parabolic solar cooker. Ingredients
- half a pumpkin, more or less depending on size
- a carton of crème fraîche
- 125 grams bacon
- half a Maroilles
- pepper, nutmeg
Preparing the pumpkin gratin with Maroilles cheese
- Cut the pumpkin into large cubes. Mix them in the black pot with the bacon and cream.
- Season with a twist of the pepper mill and freshly grated nutmeg. Cover the dish with generous slices of Maroilles (or a milder cheese, depending on your taste).
- Place the closed pot in the center of the Sunglobe, and cook for a good hour until the pumpkin is cooked and delicious. Who says you can’t make great winter recipes with solar cooking?
