Ingredients
- 2 slices leg of lamb
- 1 handful raisins and almonds
- seasonal vegetables (turnips, carrots, peppers, zucchinis… your choice!)
- 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon cumin, 1 teaspoon turmeric, paprika
Preparing tajine-style lamb
- Place all the ingredients in a suitable pot: diced meat and vegetables, dried fruit, spices and peeled tomatoes. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little water.
- Let the sun do its work… this type of dish can simmer for quite a while, checking from time to time that it’s not sticking, you can leave it to cook until the lamb is melting.
- Serve sprinkled with fresh coriander, with semolina or bulgur.
Enjoy your meal!
